We don&#8217;t always feel like driving far for lunch or dinner, especially if we&#8217;ve had a busy day (hiking, beaches, etc.).<br \/>We particularly liked the two restaurants on the village square, which offer fresh produce and home cooking, and the opportunity to eat outside on the terrace.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Les-Filles\/231830270278206\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Girls<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Lasymphoniedesplaisirs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Symphony of Pleasures<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And more recently, we discovered<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/caverestoplaisirsdivins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> Plaisirs Di Vins<\/a>, which also offers excellent cuisine, perhaps a little more sought-after and therefore a little more expensive, in a &#8220;viticultural&#8221; setting, since this restaurant is also a wine cellar.<\/p>\n<h2>Restaurants in Bandol<\/h2>\n<p>Bandol is a must-see tourist town, only 20 minutes by car from our guesthouse. We also like Bandol because the large pedestrian promenade built this year allows you to stroll for almost 1km along the harbour, restaurants, bars, ice-cream parlours and boutiques. There&#8217;s plenty of seasonal entertainment on offer too. On the other hand, we prefer the restaurants in the back alleys (we haven&#8217;t yet been seduced by the front-line restaurants).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/leShardana\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Shardana<\/a>, where we indulged in assertive flavors and Sardinian specialties. We shared this same enthusiasm with a friend visiting the Var region for a few days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>During the summer season<\/strong>, <strong>La Plage de Mila<\/strong> is a must, offering lunch with your feet in the water, but unlike some &#8220;beach&#8221; restaurants, this one offers fresh, quality produce and home cooking.<\/p>\n<p>We also made a detour to <strong>8.<\/strong>27, a wine bar. For an aperitif before going to the restaurant, or just for a drink, in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with an extensive wine list featuring wines from the region as well as from other regions&#8230; something for everyone! It&#8217;s a great pleasure to come back for the wines and the owners, who make sure you have a great time.<\/p>\n<p>Soon, I&#8217;ll be able to add to this &#8220;restaurants&#8221; blog because &#8220;reliable&#8221; people have recommended 7 restaurants in Bandol that we need to try before we can talk about them&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2>Restaurants in Sanary sur Mer<\/h2>\n<p>Sanary sur Mer is a 25-minute drive from our guesthouse.
